Pharm Med-Injection Training

Available Positions:

Registered Nurse

IN-HOME & VIRTUAL MEDICATION SAFETY MONITORING

This is a case-based contract position. (Cases: 60-90 minutes)

The RN's responsibility while monitoring patients is to observe for adverse effects during the initial dosage of a new medication. 

Throughout this monitoring, the RN will take the patient's blood pressure periodically and document vital signs.

This position is a great source of additional income.  Case assignments are primarily based on the RN's schedule.

Position Requirements

  • Valid nursing license

  • A criminal background check & PPD (both completed within the last 12 months)

  • CPR Certification

  • Child Abuse/FBI clearances are a plus but not mandatory

Skills

  • Proven experience 

  • Superior knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

  • First-rate knowledge of emergency care

  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) 

  • Outstanding problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

  • Highly organized

  • Responsible and compassionate

  • Bilingual is a plus

Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse

IN-HOME & VIRTUAL INJECTION TRAINING

 

This is a case-based contract position. (Cases: 45-60 minutes) 

LPN nurse is responsible for training patients how to properly and safely inject medications via injections with syringes and inject-able pens. During this training patients/parents will be:

  • shown how to properly load the pen and load it to the correct dosage

  • educated on safe locations on the body for injections

  • taught how to identify adverse effects at the injection site 

 

This position is a great source of additional income.  Case assignments are primarily based on the RN's schedule.

Position Requirements

  • Valid LPN / LVN License

  • A criminal background check & PPD (both completed within the last 12 months)

  • CPR Certification

  • Child Abuse/FBI clearances are a plus but not mandatory​
